A calling that became a company.

UPBooks began in 2013 in São Paulo, Brazil, founded by Bishop Eneas Francisco and Pedro Henrique Cunha with a simple but bold conviction: that powerful ideas, especially those rooted in faith, deserve to be heard far beyond the borders where they were written.

Our first title, Prevailing Youth, by Bishop Eneas Francisco, set the tone for everything that followed — a book meant not just to be read, but to build up the next generation. That same year, we translated our first two American authors, opening a door that would come to define who we are: a publisher built to move between languages, cultures, and continents.

In the years since, we've carried that mission onto some of the world's largest publishing stages, representing our authors at International Book Fairs in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Frankfurt, and across the United States. Along the way, we've had the honor of publishing more than 250 authors, with works released in both Portuguese and English — pastors, scholars, and first-time authors alike, each trusting us to carry their voice further than they could alone.

That trust is still the foundation of everything we do. UPBooks isn't just a publishing house — it's a bridge between an author's story and the global readership it was always meant to reach.
